Default UPS lost turbo need help picking a new one

well UPS says they delivered the SC61 i bought from MPIR3 to my front door last friday. its wednsday and i have no SC61. i paid a lot of money and now i have nothing.

i am going to have to get another turbo now but unfortunately i am low on money i just spent 670 dollars and now its down the drain.

i figured possibly i could afford a T3 60-1 i knw its no sc61 but its sometimes a lot cheaper than getting another SC61. im pretty bummed about my not having the SC61 i wanted

any advice on what to get?

see what happend is i bought the turbo from MPIR3 on here. i payed 670 dollars. but he didnt have the turbo BOOSTED HYBRID aka jeff did. so when i gave the money to MPIR3 he told jeff to ship it out. and jeff did. on tuesday april 13th. i asked for a tracking number many times but i was told that they were pretty busy and that dont worry ill get it. so i know they are good guys. i finalyl asked again for tracking number last night and jeff PMd me and i tracked it and it said it was delivered friday april 16th. im like WTF i dont have anything. i called UPS and they said it was delivered to my front door. i checked everywhere, my family my neighbors everywhere even bushes and nothing. i called UPS back and told then i still cant find it and asked if it was insured they said yes i was liek whew ok ia sked how much they said 500 dollars.

im like thats crazt i paid 670 dollars for it thats not enough.

turns out that even though i paid MPIR3 or jesse the money he didnt tell jeff boosted hybrid how much i paid for it and he only insured it for 500 dollars.

UPS has to investigate and that will take forever jeff says ao now im out of time and money. but i need a turbo and i have tax return coming in and need to get a turbo replacement but i dont have that much money left

i dont know what to do

Why does UPS does this in the USA? Where i live if they go and theres no one they will leave a card saying that u have to go and pick the item to their headquarters...They just dont leave your stuff out there.

thats what i said. if no one is home they are SUPPOSED to leave a card saying to come claim it. they told me that that is a 1 dollar extra option for adult signature and has to be done by the shipper at the time of initial shipping.

any ideas on what turbo to get to replace my missing SDC61?
remember im broke lol

if its in what they determine a low risk area, and the shipper doesn't require a signature (usually costs more), they will leave it at the front door. All sorts of places. We ship a ton of merchandise through UPS and I hear of all sorts of places where customers find their stuff.

Usually Ups leave a yellow slip on your door saying they will come back around or another day. That is what they do around here

Dude that sucks... I would hold UPS, and the people you bought it from liable. They didn't insure it enough, and UPS left it at your door step. That's not your problem.

Good luck

It is funny how these companies want you to pay extra (insurance) even though they are reasonable for your package anyway.

File a case in small claims court.

i cant really do that its a tough call i mean.

i bought the turbo from MPIR3 and sent him the money. he has the money. but he didnt have it at the time jeff boosted hybrid did. (he was using it to make a DP for MPIR3) MPIR3 didnt tell BOOSTED HYBRID how much to insure it for so he just insured it for 500 dollars.

i am stuck i cant tell boosted hybrid to cough up the extra 170 hes going to say thats not his problem and i cant ask MPIR3 to cough it up because hes gonna say hes notthe one who shipped it. so i know im going to lose money on this one because UPS fucked up

The UPS man couldve stolen it. IT happened to one of my best friends. He bought a exhaust, never got it and UPS said it was delivered. He found out that the driver was into imports, but never got his exhaust. UPS is gay as hell.

True true. But one question? Does anyone around your house drive an import? Maybe a neighbor stole your package. Luckily for me, my UPS man is over 50.

Scared the **** out of me.

The shipper has to file the claim with UPS. I shipped a turbo to somebody once and the tards at UPS dropped it an broke off part of the turbine housing. They must've dropped it from a 2 story building.

Anyway, I called them and the situation got taken care of pretty quickly. I was sent a check for the insured amount of the turbo.

Your case is a little different since you never even got the item, but they should handle it. You will definitely need to get Jeff involved though.

i hate to say it, but if you want your money it looks like its MPIR3's fault. true, he is in a shitty position, but he is the seller and he is the one responsible for making sure it gets to you, or is insured for the correct amount. then if he wants he can deal with the guy who sent it.

i know its tough, but someone takes the 170 in the ***. its either you or him, your choice. your an awful nice guy if you just eat it

i know jeff is a good guy and i know he will take care of it but its the problem that he didnt insure it for enough money and thats not his fault becuase he didnt know how much to insure it for since MPIR3 jesse never told him how much i paid him for it.

basically what im worried about is getting screwed out of money when i paid in full for something i didnt get that wasnt insured for full amount.
