What next on a 6th gen
I know this is a basic question that can be handled with ::search:: but I have more specifics...
I have an intake and a catback exhaust w/ high flow cat.
I have about 1200 dollars.
I don't want to use Nitrous Oxide.
What next for more performance? I was thinking:
1) turbo with no intercooler, run low boost, tune w/Hondata.
2) AEM Pulleys, camshaft, AEM Cam gear, Hondata
3) Swap some parts in from...H23?
Any ideas would be great, thanks

For cheap power you can move the IAT (intake air temp) sensor to the intake piping so it sences cooler air. You can do the EGR block off to keep your IM from heating up and cooling the air going in. Those are some cheap tricks. You can save a little more and get a turbo kit, which would probably be the best bet, and then you can sell the header and intake for a little extra money back.
With the 1200 you should buy a turbo, intercooler, and wastegate. Save up more and buy the rest later. The only problem you'll run into is with the Hondata. You have to figure out how to get the IAC from a 3 wire setup to a 2 wire configuration. It has been done but no one has written a write-up. Good luck, the turbo has been on my 6gen for 7 months now with the AFC Hack and runs strong with no problems.
