Turbo-ing a high mileage car??
doing a basic rebuild would be nice.....but if u have themoney jsut build the bottom end right with some lower comp pistons, some rods, and mayeb even some sleeves, jstu depends on your goals with the car and your budget

Turbocharging a car will obviously put more strain on your motor. Doing so to a high milage motor will only kill it sooner. I am sure that motor needs to be refreshed anyway, so do a nice rebuild and it will be fine. You could also go the cheap route and get a low milage motor and then sell yours. Then you would be back at square one essentially because you should still build the new motor if you plan on running much boost. And you can kill a brand new motor, it just depends on how you go about it.
