removing accord sign

i just removed the accord sign on the trunk and now that nasty ugly rubbery thing is still sitting right there. would anyone happen to know how to take it out?

I used goo-gone and let it soak for a while and then rubbed it of it took some elbow grease but it worked i think any adhisive remover would work but make sure it wont hurt the paint
