I have a 91 Accord EX available to me almost for free. They told me that the cam broke in half and tore up the top end, don't know if there is any bottom end damage. I am not a honda guy so I need some help. I have no problem doing the engine swap or any other work. Here are some questions:
Which engines will fit in this car?
Is a junkyard engine a bad choice?
Is there a chance that the bottom end is still good and I can just replace the head?
What are some good websites dealing with these issues?

mmmmm if u don't want to rebuild the engine then jus go to a junk jard and get another engine. just make sure that u get a engine with the lowest miles u can find(lowest mean 100k and up since is a 15 year old car)
they run for cheap like $300 for the engine. just make sure the engine is still in the car so u can check the miles.

Thanks alb, Can you tell me any technical info about the engine in that car? I would like to know what the designation of the engine is and what other year/model engines will fit in the car without a lot of modification.

find out if its just the head, try to find a head for yor car on ebay, or hear, or accordtuner.com
