Whats the difference between the jdm and usdm DA?

Whats the difference between the jdm and usdm DA?
Im only talking about this...on the usdm cluster the red line is around 6800 i beleive, and the jdm is at 8200rpm...what the difference, arent the motors the same? some one help me out, im really confused!!!! Thanx
