1997 Civic EX Coupe Door Lock Removal..
hey guys, i just started my new job but it's in a ghetto area. My gf works 1 street away and someone just tried to steal her car again. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if this'll work and how i should go about doing it......
I figured in order to make it a little more headche to steal my car, i would remove the inner lock. And somehow disable the key hole on the outside. That way the only way in and out of my car is through my keyless entry. And the only way thieves will be able to get in and out is to hop through my window.
So how could I go about removing these locks, etc?
thanks

I just did this a few weekends ago, it's pretty easy. Just take the door panel off, and disconnect the rods. Then take out the power lock switch.
Check to make sure that the keyless works (I'm not sure what the keyless actuator is connected to in your car) while your sitting in the car before you bolt everything up, and leave the windows open while you're working just in case.
