Default Please help car won't start!!

Ok, my cd deck recently died so I decided to get a new one, took the old one out, and put in the new one, the new one starts up and works perfect, the only problem is now my car won't start, it crancked over for a while, then the battery died, so I hooked it up to my fathers van, to try to jump start it, car would keep crancking, but wouldn't start. Could I have somehow short circuted something while installing the new cd deck?, Or do I need a new battery, I figured that even if my battery was dead, I should be able to start the car with a jumpstart, but I may be wrong, anyway, I really need my car and have no clue as to why it won't start.

Please give me any suggestions,

thanks

ur battery is prolly in bad condition, check ur starter, and installing a deck wont caused the car to not start.

bring ur battery to a local autozone, kragen etc. to get it check

sorry if his car is cranking, it has nothing to do with the battery.

you probably blew a fuse, check on the drivers side where your left knee sits. there is a panel there. inspect all of them.

Are you sure you wired it correctly. I put a new CD playin in my hatch and accidentally wired it to the headlights. Now I need to turn them on whenever I want to listen to the radio....make sure you didn't connect it to a constant,

Checked all fuses, they are all good, I think I'll try getting a new battery and see if that works

Unhook your CD player and see if it starts. If it does you know that was the problem. If it doesn't rediagnose...
