What muffler is this?
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but this is going on my coupe. Anyways I picked this up from a local jdm parts importer for super cheap. I was just wondering if anywone would be able to identify what muffler it is. Like from what company, model, ect... I find it looks alot like a HKS hiper.

This is the only type of badging or writing on the muffler.

The tip is 3.5"

Piping is actually 2.25"

I was just wondering. Is this a sin? It's going on my car regardless.

JASMA approved exhausts comply with noise regulations (98dB max) not emmissions. My mugen exhaust has a mugen badge and jasma stamped on the underside of the cannister and also stamped on the pipework
JASMA stands for Japanese Sports Muffler Manucturers Association, it's more of a quality standard

If I'm not mistaken I think JASMA stands for Japanese "something" Sports Muffler Association. I might be completely wrong on this. But I think it's basically like some sort of emissions approving that the muffler can be used, and is emissions legal.

From a distance I would mistake it for an apexi N1! Never heard of Jasma though. maybe it is a JDM jewel that will be very sought after soon so hold on to it regardless. looks clean

I would say more like a CARB approval.
