Default Wedge Engineering Sparco Brackets for Integra GSR

Ok Guys, I am in the same spot as many of you...

I have a 95 GSR with Sparco Pro 2000's with side mounts and sparco seat brackets.

No matter what I do I can not get the seat low enough and back far enough! I have a steering wheel quick release and hub extender (Thanks LTB) and I need to figure out how to get the seat as low as I can.

Currently I have a two piece sparco seat bracket and I would like to know what people are doing to get comfortable in this car!

Any ideas?

I had the same problem. I ended up using the stock sliders to get the seat low enough and have sliders. If that's not enough I would look at bolting the side mounts to the floor.

Check out the link in my signature for a how-to on using the stock sliders.

I think I need to get it even closer to the ground than you guys did. The problem is that I can't get the side mounts to bolt to the floor because the stock floor pan is not long enough between the mounting points.

Karl, Spiff or Scott - Any advise. I know you all have GSR's. Thanks!

If you didn't use sliders you could get maybe an inch or so closer to the floor than with my setup. How tall are you? I mean, if you did that (no sliders) it'd be practically sitting on the floor. I guess you could cut out those floor humps, but I think that'd compromise the frame strength/rigidity.

Robert Williams bent two strips of metal for his seat "mount". They werent bent so they lay flat on the floor and bent towards the stock mounting holes and the seat sat on the flat parts. I sat in his car and I could not see over the wheel

That's just because you're height-impaired, RJ.
VTECAcura, yes, they are on stock sliders. Hit up Doctor Cortez on here if you're interested. For what it's worth, I'm 110% pleased with his service and product.

is that due to a lack of headroom ? or is the seat just not sitting as you would like it ?

and Yes , we modded some OEM rails for Adam's car , the seat sits 1" of the floor and follows basically the OEM rake.

I have the sunroof plugged and I can't easily get the seat back and low enough to get comfortable. Currently I am too close and too high. Again, I am currently using sparco side mounts on sparco brackets. I could try Honda OEM sliders with sparco side mounts or I could try wedge engineering custom bracket. Can any GSR guys chime in?

Other than the sunroof, I think the GSR and Type R are the same, as far as factors that might affect your seating arrangement goes. If you want a pair of Wedge mounts made to fit in an Integra and for the Pro2000s, hit me up, I'm ready to get rid of the ones sitting in my basement. However, I have to say I don't think it'd lower your seat at all from your current setup, though I can't say with certainty.
