I just installed a set of JUN3s on my ITR with a modified head and I notice that the valves sound louder than usual. I used a full JUN valvetrain with JUN springs and retainers and adjusted the valves to JUN3 specs.. Still, they sound fairly loud when opening/closing almost like they needed a valve job .. Is this normal ??

 

yes. and if you changed injectors, you are probably hearing those as well.

just make sure your valve lash is set right. ive heard that sounds plenty of times

 

Yep, now you can't try and say that you have a D15B under the hood like Kendall. You can hear that valve tick sound a mile away...

 

yes the valves will get louder that is normal..just keep an eye on the valve lash more often compared to stock cams.

Yup mines loud too, now everyone thinks my valves are off and wanna run to see if i can blow her up....but i just blow up the competition
