Default H22 -EG clutch throw question

Hey guys,

I'm running an ACT street disc and pressure plate in my 92 VX with H22 and LSD tranny. I used the Prelude slave cylinder and plumbed in the civic line to that. The clutch pedal needs to be pushed in most of the way for the clutch to disengage and then grabs fully without letting the pedal out much. I'm just asking if anyone else has experienced this? I bled it and the clutch still feels the same. Its not too bad driving it like that, but I just wanted to know if thats normal for pedal feel...

I would like a bit more throw before the clutch engages actually, its that tight... I've gotta try to re-bleed the system sometime here and see if that does anything. How is everyone else's clutch feel?

Mine is the EXACT way as yours is bro. I've bled it time and time again and it doesnt change. I even had my clutch peddle adjusted to give me a lil more throw. I have an ACT also (HD-SS). You have to push the damn thing all the way to the floor to disengage, but you can barely let it out and it will grab like crazy.

No clue why it does this but a buddy of mine had an ACT in his ek and he said it did the same thing. He didnt have an h swap, just a stock ex motor.

I have a 92 cx with a 94 h22a. I used the civic's master and the ludes slave cylinders and have no problem. I even have a similar clutch setup as you. ACT Xtreme pressure plate and ACT street disc.

Ok fellas, a lil update that may have some impact on this convo. Found out today that my master cylinder is leaking so will be replacing that asap. Talked to a buddy of mine about it and he was sayin that that could be why the throw is so low; the leak is causing loss of pressure.

I'll post what the outcome is.

I have a SPEC stage 3 and the engagement is just the same-in or out! Very little play...

sweet update, I'll check that out this weekend. I haven't seen any fluid really, just a bit of oil on the pan and I thought that was probably a little that I spilled when filling the engine... It would be nice to fix that clutch though.
