First time poster here. Great forum.

I'm going to adjust the valves on my wife's '91 Accord (DX automatic , 2-dr, 234,000 miles). I only have a Haynes manual (I know: I should get a Chilton's). The Haynes manual says the valve clearance is .010" and .012". Can someone confirm what the Honda or Chilton's manual says about valve clearance?

Also, how do you turn the engine by hand? The crankshaft pulley is so close to the fender well that I don't think I can get a socket wrench onto the pulley bolt. If the plugs are out, will the engine turn over easily enough just by pulling the belt?
