Where to buy Apexi Super silencer 90mm!?
I have a Apexi N1 cat-back system on my R'. This is a JDM-spec. NA muffler with 90mm tip.
I want to buy a Super Silencer, but no shops in Norway can help me with this
I have searched many places, seems like all online-shops only have silencers for the 115mm tip.
Do any of you know a place (online) to buy a small piece like this? Need shipment.

Hmm.. I also have the 115mm silencer. Can you try APEXi directly. Try sending them an email. http://www.apexi-usa.com/ Worth a try..

Yeah, that maybe true - but at some tracks they are very strict about db-levels and I don't like the thought of not being able to track my R cuz of my loud exhaust.

But you got yourself a "rotating silencer" further up your exhaust don't you?
It will not pass db-levels on trackdays here. - I know for sure my exhaust is too loud.
I got header, testpipe and Apexi-N1 catback. I am planning on adding a resonated testpipe or high-flow cat sometime in the future - maybe that will help, but right now the Super Silencer could help me out in db-emergency-situations
There is a reason why they made a super silencer for the N1 you know.

I think the inspection laws says that the dB levels has be below 90dBs at 5000rpms (or something like that) and my car passed easily, and I thought my car was pretty loud.
It has a resonator and a cat, but no tip silencer

I have access to regular silencers...generic no branders....again, they sound like crap, but they all do.
I wouldn't invest in anything too expensive because you're gonna get sick of it after a while...It really takes away from the R's classic growl.

Your testpipe is what's making your car "too loud" for track days. I'd ditch the testpipe and use a cat. I think the silencer is pointless; basically negates gains from the exhaust..
I haven't testet the db-levels now, it would be interesting to know. But the car is not that loud when standing still - even at high rpms - but once youre on the move, and in VTEC - it screams real loud
It is not something I would use other than in "emergency-situations"... it is just if I HAVE TO cuz of the db-regulations at a trackday - or I am going on a really loooong trip or something like that... like my summer holiday with 1500km of driving...

I have read this at a site selling Apexi stuff:
Easy and effective way to lower sound output from muffler for street use Lower sound decibel output of the exhaust by 7 dB, increase mid range torque for street use. The Super Silencer is the most effective way to lower sound output from an exhaust system without sacrificing high-end power. The Silencer has also been shown to increase mid-range torque in some vehicles. The Silencer will lower average output muffler sound by approx. 7 dB.
I only got this text in notepad, dont have the original link anywhere now
But as far as I understand - this can actually improve the performance... maybe it is just B.S. - I don't know...

Its BS dude....You will feel the loss too.
btw, here's a sound clip of my R with the N-1...pretty quiet. Cold idle revved to 5000rpms.

who would have thought? out of all places, you can't get on the track with a performance exhaust? what's the reason behind that?

I don't know why they are so strict for sure - But I think it is laws and regulations due too the neighbours of the tracks and stuff like that. Usually it is 90db max limits at tracks here (varying from track to track).
They are only allowed to have like 12 racedays or something with free db - those days are usually fully booked for real racecars and big events, so guys like me with normal street cars who wants a trackday are stuck with the normal regulations.
