ctr crank pulley is it really worth it????
dude get one, there bad ***! i put one on my b20 the other day and wholy crap what a nice difference compaired to the stock heavy pos. I noticed a nice differece in the 5k-6k range and bottom end. Its alot easier for me to stall but i also have a 9lb flywheel. Lighter rotating assembly = more quick revs!
You will gain horsepower from not having the A/C and power steering belts, however you can further benefit by completely removing the A/C and power steering systems from the car, thus making a considerable weight difference.

God I hate seeing this topic come up every week.
PLEEEAAASE do a search. This has been argued a million and a half times over.
THe debate is if it has a HARMONIC balancer or a pulse dampener. It is not the same thing as being ROTATIONALLY balanced.

read both sides of the arguement, then decide. Don't just assume.

It depends upon which exact engine it is. Power steering by itself has been good for as much as 5 hp to the wheels.

while we are on the topic of the infamous CTR pulley.
Will the stock alternator belt from a GSR work on the CTR pulley.
Reason being is I just ordered one and need to know if the stock belt will fit.
THANKS.

The ctr n1 pulley is a good investment. It has factory timing marks, unlike some aftermarket crank pullies that have none at all. Its not too expensive either. Good luck choosing
.
.
Its factory timing if you have a B18C5 or a B16
The B20, B18C, and B18B's use a larger diameter alternator pulley and the markings are off.
