Default ecu trouble code?!?!

i have an 88 dx. completely stock..

when i reset the ecu and check it.. the led on the ecu flashes one time real quick and stays off...

then after driving it for a while the check engine light will come on. so i check the ecu.. and the led light just does a continious flash. i counted it up to 30+ and then i got tired....

any thoughts/ help?

thats what im saying.. it just keeps blinking... and they are in no pattern.. just a continous blink...

there would be about 3 seconds in between each blink.

i counted up to 30 blinks.. then i quit...

code 1
Oxygen Sensor "A" (Primary)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
If the CEL goes on after driving for a while it is in fact an old O2 sensor.
get a cheap Bosch replacement from autoparts store and reset your ECM.
