Default New bushings......a good handling upgrade????

I've been wanting to improve the R's already great handling characteristics. I'll eventually go with a good high quality setup (Mugen low-down or similar), but for now I'm low on cash. I've been thinking about replacing all of my bushings with stiffer aftermarket ones. Will this make any difference? What are some good brands? I'm thinking about going with Mugen, but was wondering if their are any cheaper alternatives.

I wouldn't spend money to replace your "new" OE bushing. A complete bushing set costs anywhere from $150 - $$$ and it take butt-loads of time to change 'em (some require press). IMHO, you won't feel the difference on the street. (Actually, it'll just feel harsher and you'll hate it.) Just save up money for a new suspension setup (i.e. lowdown, etc.) For the amount of money you spend on bushing, just take your car out to an autoX or a track session. G'luck.
