Default my new ET, 94 cx with JDM ITR

Power:
-98 JDM ITR, 4.7 FD, Kaaz LSD
-3" intake, 2.5" cat, 2.25 catback.

Traction:
-MT 20x8 hard wall on 14" wheels, 12 psi
-Full Race traction bar
-urethane torque mount inserts

Weight reduction:
-no passenger seat, rear seat, spare tire, jack
-fuel tank is 1/3 full
-CF hood

the temperature was around 80 degree. i think the slicks were too small, i could probably get a better 60' with larger slicks. this probably put me in the mid 13's in 1/4 mile. my goal is high 12's. there was a new dodge srt-4 there and it ran 9.18 @ 81.3 mph with 2.18 60'. i think the only upgrade it has was an intake. not sure if he upped the boost or not.

best MPH

best ET

the setup

Very good times, get some bigger slicks, drop the 60 foot a little and you should see 8.4 or better

i probably lost some top end because i had to run slicks with 10 psi to get the grip. the car was almost sitting on the rims. you can see on my first slip, i ran with 18psi and got 2.1 60', the tires were spinning all the to the end of second gear and i got 81.7 mph. on the second slip, i ran 10psi and got 1.93 60' but only 80.4 mph. also, the slicks were about 4 years old and got a little hard. i was thinking about getting some BF drag radial or Nitto's on 15" wheels.

Those slicks take away some MPH anyway, I would try BFGs and see what happens

DO NOT GET THE NITTO's
They suck!!! I'd stick w/ the M/T's. IMO

how streetable are the BF G-force. i'm not looking to get some real slicks because i only go to the strip 2-3 times a year just to see what my car can run when i do some upgrades.

everyone says that nitto sucks but i've had both nitto and bfgs, i sold the bfgs after two nites at the track...all i got was wheel hop
bought nittos and now i'm cutting high 1.9s-low 2.0s everytime and i street them. I bet i'll get 8-10k miles on them too. I have a setup very similar to your so pm me if you want more info, and i have a few questions about your oppinion of the slicks

Thai, how's the ITB project coming along? We have to go to a better track. Your times will be lower. South Mountain sucks ***, but it is close. We'll have to make a trip to Maple Grove or Beaver Springs.

if you can fit a vx rim under your brake caliper, i would suggest M&H 13" DOT drag radial tire! i have used them for a couple of months, and i have hit 1.9-1.8 60' times.

i'm still waiting on those 2" aluminum pipe that you are suppose to get for me so i can finish up the ITB project. then i will also need to get a wide band and a vafc before i can install it.

it wasn't running slicks, it might have been running drag radials. he didn't get a very bad 60' though.

i don't think i will be able to use the vx rims after i install the integra brakes. also, i'm looking for good tires that i can use on the street also bacause i don't go to the track that often.

nice times.. my cousin has the same setup as you sort of, stock lsd, stock motor, 98 gsr cat. when i drove it on m/ts 22x8x15s at 11 psi he ran 8.68 in the 8th mile. launching at like 6-7 rpms ( cx 94 hb) on bfgs drag radials 205-50-15s i ran a 8.81 at like 83mph. better times on the slicks..
