SCCA Solo II Brake ?
I am looking to compete in the Stock class. Do you autoXers know if the cut off for Stainless steel braided brake lines is 10 years ago.
ie, I found a 2002 copy of the SCCA rules which stated:
"Substitution of clutch and brake hydraulic lines with solid metal or braided metal is allowed on all cars manufactured before model year 1992. "
Is this regulation updated every year, so in 2004 a car manufactured before modle year 2004 would be eligible for hydraulic line upgrade?
Thanks

so, no you cannot.
You don't need them anyway. Just get good pads and flush your fluid and replace it with something good. I use Cobalt Friction GT-Sport pads and ATE Superblue fluid and you really don't need any more brake than that.

Try a good set of pads and fluid (with a flush) decide from there.
I don't find autox brake intensive, that's why I don't think they are necessary. That's just me though, maybe your track layouts are different.
