Well, I am switching to the gsr lsd tranny, and I need a new act disc, because the old one wont fit. There is only 10K or less on my fidanza flywheel, and I was wondering if I should have it surfaced, or will I be ok with a little bit of sanding to remove the glazing if there is any? I havent took it apart yet, and I know that once I do I will have a better idea. But what do you all think. Also, the fidanza surface disk might have to be replaced, because I dont know it you can surface those. Its only 10K, what ya think???? Thanks, Ryan
So long as theres no glazing or burn spots it'll be ok, have you burnt the clutch up real good to make you wonder about a resurface or just for the heck of it? I'd say you'll be ok.
i doubt you will have any problems with it unless you abused it. When I dropped my tranny (for other reasons) I inspected my clutch and cm flywheel. they had about 10k on them and they looked fine.
personally if it was me i'd just get it cleaned up. you figure you already have a part might as well do the job right the first time instead of 2 times just my 2 cents
