Default lsvtec stock bottom end

i saw a post about someone doing a crvtec with a stock bottem end, and asking if anyones heard of them pulling decently, and i'm doing a LS bottom end with a b16 head, and was wondering the same question. anyone heard or seen any stock bottom end lstvecs pull pretty coo? i have a stock head with a intake manifold, and 280 cc injectors, vafc. 2.5 exhaust piping and no cat. gonna pick up a header soon, running a p28. well that's what i've gotten so far, just gott athrow it to gether. let me know what to expect guys, by the way, its in a 95 integra RS.

ps.- is it save to rev it to 8k?

It should pull strongly. The drawback is the Ls has relatively low compression(9.4-1) so there's still untapped potential. My buddy had a Ls/Vtec in an GSR body and it felt like a warmed over GSR.

well a B20z isn' that much higher at 9.6:1 and the B20B has 8.8:1 but does have 84mm bore.
