is there a way to make h4 bulbs fit into a jdm h4h headlights

 

no, in short no, there have been people that say they trim them toi make them fit but i have yet to see proof.
altough there was a guy who made HID from another car fit by jdm weldding the bulbs in the headlights

 

It will require alot of precise cutting.

Ive done it many times with ease! You just have to bend that **** with plyers. I have piaa h4's in my jdm jams!

Just by looking at this picture I can tell you how to do it.. It would take all of 2 minutes to do as well..

Notice that the base of the 2 bulbs is the same. the only difference is the outer part with the tabs. Well, you see where the outer part with tabs is "welded" to the base.(just look for the spots, you can't miss them, but you can't see them in the pic because you have to look from above). There are prolly 3 or 4 if i remember correctly. Now, get some wire cutters or any other sharp cutting tool and cut those "welds" and the outer part will come off. Now all you have to do is put the h4h outer part onto the H4 base and secure it by JB weld or some other method and BAM.. there you go.

i did it, i used a dremel, its not worth it though, the light beam pattern is too high, its like you have your high beams when you turn on the headlight, then when you high highbeams the light beam is too low, just get a pair at jdmhondapart.com

Curious as to why you would want to do this? cost of h4h? JHPUSA.COM sells them. and you can find raybrigs on ebay a lot.

 

true that you can get em off ebay and other places, but when your cheap and cant justify dropping that much $ on a set of bulbs this is what you can do.
