actually i've noticed that usdm springs ( the front ones at least ) are a bit taller, i have a couple of sets of the jdm ones and they only have 9 coils. i think usdm has more than that

I do fool - you ever drive in PA?

I second that brother, "any of you ever drive in pa?"
it's like this: "road construction next 10 miles"
"Men not a work"
"active work zone 8-8 every day"
"winding roads"
"bump ahead"
"speed limit 45"
that's all the signs i see in PA constantly. The road's are terrible, so when you ask who drives stock springs? Anyone in PA does i'm sure of it.

Hey,
I believe the spring rates were changed from 246lb./in. to 250lb./in. in the front from '96 to '98 spec. This info. is from the Best Motoring Type R Legends DVD. Of course the rears are still progressive with the upper limit being identical to the front rate. I know this is a minor change, but I think it goes along with the change of the rear swaybar to 23mm. I will reconfirm tonight when I get home. HTH.
