Default VAFC settings?

my friend has a 00 GSR with I/H/E what is the best reliable setting for his A/F and vtec engagement? thanks

SEARCH...but they are different for every car so it needs to be tuned on a dyno...

i got mine set at stock until it goes on the dyno. i got just about the same mods on my 94 gsr, and the vtec is: L-H 4500, H-L 4000. let your tuner do the settings, that way you cant go wrong!

I wouldn't mess around with the VAFC settings until I went to a Dyno to get it tuned.

ok i'll tell him to hit the dyno, but he was also thinking of getting cams, i tried searching on this but there were so many threads. SO are the skunk2 stage 1 cams the best for a daily driver? they don't require diffrent valve springs do they?do you need cam gears too? cuz i saw that you have the gears on your car. how much would it cost and where is the best place to order it from? By the way skunk2nR your car is sick!

here, i'll offer j00 some assistance:
skunk2 stage1's are good, so are civic typeR/ integra typeR
you won't need to upgrade your valvestrain if you don't go w/ stage2's or 3's.
