Default Automatic-Manual Tranny Swap

How much would it cost to do it? Like, an estimate. I think I might want to get it done.

labor set aside? by the general rule of thumb, mechanics charge 3x the parts.. so would it be around $700 for parts?

can anyone point me to a "how-to" site for a 2000 accord lx a->m swap?

Might want to do it yourself. Parts will probably cost you $800. Why not DIY. Doing one myself this summer Grabbing parts already.

go to a Honda junk or salvage yard. Find a manual 4th gen Accord. Gut that baby out. Everything from the clutch master cylinder, all the firewall clutch lines (do not disassemble them) to the clutch dampener to the slave cylinder. Then take the pedal assembly, shifter cables, shifter assembly. Don't lose any bolts,hoses,screws...etc. Then ask around about labor. Its not very difficult. My buddy and I did it in 1 afternoon.

I posted a step-by-step process in the Basic Accord Guide at the top of the forum. Good luck
