Whats TRUE???? Pistons P3/P30/CTR in B18A/B Clearances and Shaving???
OK I'm building an ls and want to know what is true here? I've been searching about two hours on here and don't want to get scolded
LS block/rods/crank with stock head? All this talk about yes they will and then I come across saying shave the rods or piston for balance or something????, valve clearance to piston??, will they hit the head with 1-2-3 layer gasket???/ bigger or smaller pins for pistons////????
Do you know anyone who has had problems or is running excellent ??
Please help me cause I'm looking for piston now(p3/p30). ANd if i get Edelbrocks Stage 3 cams do you think I will have valve clearance's with these domed pistons???

ctr pistons on a ls block and head is already 12.0:1 with two layer head gasket will be at 12.38:1 so i would just get ctr and live it alone that should give you good numbers
