Default Just got 2004 accord coupe and ready to do audio install!

First of all I just want to say it's nice to find a great honda forum with all you enthusiasts.
I am planning on doing an audio install in the new accord but I haven't really been able to see too many installs in my generation accord. If anyone has pictures they can share I would love to see the kind of trunk space I am dealing with etc.

This is what my system will be comprised of.

Alpine cda 9831
PG Tantrum 1200.1 amp
2 RE SE 12" subs

more to come later

My other question is has anyone had any problems with that extra piece you can buy at crutchfield to put the head unit in the accord? I know there is this 25 dollar thing you can put in the storage area under the stock console that is supposed to work fine, is this true?

Take care~

I don't think anyone makes a "kit" for the 04 accord yet... and I'm sure it's gonna cost a good chunk when they do

The kit is in the final stages of development from Metra. It will have an MSRP of about $200, and will replace the entire console where your current radio is. It will contain the same switches and dials currently in the panel. I have a magazine at work that estimates the release date, but I forget it right now....

Why do car manufacturers have to make this increasingly difficult.
