Just got my 2004 accord, need to know about sound systems!
First of all I just want to say it's nice to find a great honda forum with all you enthusiasts.
I am planning on doing an audio install in the new accord but I haven't really been able to see too many installs in my generation accord. If anyone has pictures they can share I would love to see the kind of trunk space I am dealing with etc.
This is what my system will be comprised of.
Alpine cda 9831
PG Tantrum 1200.1 amp
2 RE SE 12" subs
more to come later
My other question is has anyone had any problems with that extra piece you can buy at crutchfield to put the head unit in the accord? I know there is this 25 dollar thing you can put in the storage area under the stock console that is supposed to work fine, is this true?
Take care~

welcome to h-t, to let you know before the other guys get ya... There is a seperate forum section about Audio/Stereo works this ones mainly for technical...
heres the link to the audio section... https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=27
But yes the crutchfield extra piece will help... other wise it wont be a perfect fitment... and the new accords has a fairly huge trunk and everything to fit in right...
most people mount their amps to the back seat's or back of the box, but that all depends on your taste and style... if you dont use your trunk at all, mount it to the spare tire locations for show...
