Default need something quiet

does a mugen twin loop fit on a greddy evo b-pipe?

Ever since I put on the jackson racing high flow cat, my car been so loud, raspy, and annoying. Before with the stock cat on, the evo sounded lovely. But now it just sounds like plain ****.

Is there a way to silence it up a little besides getting rid of it?

Why not go with A'PEXi WS?

I've tried mixing a few 'axle-backs' -to- 'aftermarket b pipes' before. Didn't work with what I had. The hanger where the axle-back connects to the b pipe was being used by the b pipe and the axle-back wanted to use it too. A simple job of cutting the axle-back hanger would have worked, but I didn't want to ruin anything.

I will seriously disagree with this and question your perception of what sounds come from where in relation to your car. You either do not even own an A'PEXi N1 or only own an A'PEXi N1 muffler welded to your restrictive OEM piping. I have owned the A'PEXi N1 cat-back on my EJ8 and found it ******* louder than hell ... even with the silencer in the tip! Its straight-through design, relatively little amount of muffler insulation, and this little piece of metal they call a resonator do not promote a quiet exhaust. I'm sorry, but if you actually do own a N1 cat-back, you're mistaking the exhaust for the sound of your engine.

And for the poster, if you don't mind having the GReddy piping cut up, you can try adding in another resonator. That might help a little.
