ACT Prolite flywheel and ACT HDSS clutch
anyone here running this setup on there R, not shure about the flyweel, but pretty set on the clutch. Is 8.8lbs too light for the street? Or is the Streetlight the way to go? Only mods are I/H/E. Also clutch break in, should I take it easy for 500 mi or just go all out from the start? Thanks All!!!
IMHO Lighter is better for a FW. I use the Comptech Al FW 6.75lbs and LOVE it.
I also use the ACT xt-ss and like it too but its alot of clutch for just bolt ons..
500 miles of easy and then slowly get on it.

I have the ACT HDSS/8.8 setup and I love it.
The HD though makes a noise from time to time when it enguages, it sounds like screeching tire. But it doesn't bother me and it still grabs hard.
I would go lighter on the flywheel if I had the choice again, and I would consider the XT pressure plate, even though it might be a little extreme for daily driving.

yep same setup hdss with prolite. and i love it, yea it does make that little noise that sounds like peeling tires everyonce in awhile.
good, im glad im not the only one with that sound.
ditto on the sound with engagement. i especially hear it when going into second gear too smoothly at too low of rpms. i feel better now i'm not the only one.
btw, i have this exact set-up, and it is awesome! lighter flywheels always take a little while to get used to so you don't bog out, but that's like a couple days. then, the car feels so much more fun and easier to make it do what you want.
