Default finally the build begins

well i finally received my pistons today. my block has been sleeved by GE and been sittin here for over a month. i have all new mains and rod bearings just sittin in a box. new T belt, T belt tensioner, water pimp, oil pump, bottom end gasket kit, and other misc goodies. so within a month i figure my motor will b assembled and running. wish me luck.

heres a pic of my current pistons that are starting their 3rd yr of competition in my current motor and my new pistons that arrived today

o yeah the reason i have my head off in the 2nd pic above is because i was puttin this on

I know how it is with "chores" lol.
I need to drop my ITR motor for a minor rebuild and I have been procrastinating
Looks like you are going to be a very serious contender this year.

well i just want to b the fastest NA honda in the NW for now. im about 4/10ths shy as right now. but, i have only 1/3 the money into my project than my competitor ahead of me. ill give a summary of what i have currently vs his. now this motor im workin on is goin to be to battle against his current K motor. i have no doubt ill walk all over his old setup.

me 12.0 @109, 81.5mm 11.3:1 pistons, pump gas, ITR tranny, chipped P28, ITR head, ITR IM, ITR TB, 3" generic short ram, DC JDM header, 22/8/15 MT slicks, 1785 w/driver
his old setup 11.7 @116, B16 stroked and bored to 2.1L, 86mm pistons, around 15:1 CR, methanol, short geared quaife tranny with quaife LSD, SDS stand alone, ported head, ITBs, DC race header, 26" slicks 1750 w/driver
current 11.6@106 JDM K series R motor, dont know the exact specifics, still running meth though.
