Yes and no, the 600R in my opinion has a much more relaxed seating position wheras the GSX-R600 is one of the most aggressive on the market.
The GSX-R600 also has a lot more power and is fuel injected which makes the power delivery much smoother.

Thanks, in my opinion this bike is not for a beginner, the handling and power is not newbie friendly.
