Default ok here it goes to all you d15b owners!!!

i hope the pic works, anyways, some guy want to sell me a 89 civic si. he says it has the d15b but that the v-tec is not hooked up, which is no problem to wire but i also saw the injectors, intake manifod, and dizzy and looked like they were not from there, ( where from the si engine) am i stupid or am i right? did he just put the head or what? can i hook up the v-tec this way anyway? a buddy of mine has a d16z6 engine with a fucked up bottom end that will give me the head with dizzy and everything. help will greatly be apreciatred. thanks in advance.

looks like he built a mini me. in your case its a d15 block with a vtec head. the funny thing is that it all looks stock. is there a d15 vtec motor? anyway, all d-series parts are interchangable (for the most part), hence the different injectors, fuel rail and intake manifold you may have seen. check to see if he has a vtec capable ecu. good luck
