Is my clutch shot? It feels fine, but...
I always leave my car in first when it's parked. Sometimes when I would park it on a very slight incline it would kinda slip and roll a tad real quick, but it would hold. Last night I put 1.8 quarts of SyncroMesh FM in my tranny. Afterward I went to a friends and parked it on that same very slight incline and it would roll, catch, roll, catch, etc. Does my clutch need replace or is it something else?
edit: Fluids are fine.

start your car... put it in fifth gear and gas it while braking and releasing the clutch. does the car stay running... if so you're clutch is going (probobly not too far off from death).
Can you hear the cylinders making compression when it's rolling... if not it could be a tranny problem... if so it sounds like the clutch is slipping. but it's odd that it doesn't do so while driving the car... maybe the flywheel has some **** on it or something... possilbly the clutch pads are glazed.

I'll check the 5th gear method as soon as the oil wecks in to my K&N. I don't hear any compression while rolling. I'm thinking on the lines of the flywheel myself. Like the title says, my clutch feels fine. I've driven a car with a shot clutch (and that's not fun). What should I do? This isn't a job I would do myself. What would be the best route?

well....first off, you shouldn't rely on 1st gear to hold your car from moving down a hill, or even on a flat surface. That's what your e brake is for.
When leaving in first and no ebrake, the only thing stopping the car from moving is compression in the engine...
plus, you should leave it in a higher gear anyways....you're doing it all wrong
if when driving, the clutch feels fine, then by all means, leave it alone.
