Default need a hi-flow catalytic converter...which works best?

I plan on a DC header into some hi-flow converter, to a 90 deg mandrel bend straight out the passenger side.(2.25 piping) I have heard of Random Tech, Catco, and Carsound. I will be doing any welding myself if needed.
Are these good performers?
Any direct replacement?(a6 motor)
Any other manufacturers that can compete?
Where to buy?
