hi on my b18c1 will this help me out if it does i would like to put in on my b18c5 coming.is it worth the price for all to get it

 

So are you putting it on the gsr or itr motor?

You really only need an ignition if you're gonna rev the motor out a lot and have a lot of air/fuel flowing through it. It'll make the sparks more responsive to the higher flow of A/F.

Where you have bigger header/cams on the gsr (i assume the one thats in the crx), it'd probably help out more than a stock (again i assume) itr motor.

if it's gonna be heavily modded, than yeah it'll help.

thats the only time you'll really see any perf advans from ignitions after bolt ons.

It only helps provide faster spark at higher rpms when a lot more fuel and air is being passed through (ie, turbo set up, or big cams + high compression).

It's one of the last things to mod on the motor (aside from tuning).
