Default taking off dash to have rolls cage install, any trick or PITA I should know about?

I bought a stripped interior (except for two door panels with the windows) 88 CRX Si with a B18c toda cams, hondata, etc. The top half of the dash is still in. I need to take the dash off and take out the ECU/hondata so the cage builder can build up a custom six point cage for me. Besides taking a dash apart being a general PITA, has anyone done it and found something that I should know (like maybe it took you two hours to figure out a different way to yank out a section that could have done it in 30 minutes knowing what you know now). I am getting some numbered tape from Grainger to label the connections on the wiring harnesses. Any helpful hints other than buy a lot of beer would be appreciated. Thanks.
