See if you can talk that guy down though. It's an 02 (03's have better valve springs) and over 20k miles. If you can get it for around $2500, it'd be a good price.
i would definitely be in the market if I wasn't on a lease and if I found one at the right price.
jimmyjames,
$2900 for a complete, low mileage (yes 20k is LOW mileage) K20A2 / 6spd swap is a damn good deal.
Look around and come back here with a link at a cheaper price.
Only reason I'm asking so little is because I got a great deal on the whole car and would like a quick turn around.
$2500....please...80,000 mile LS swaps sell for that!

Not sure if I would swap the 200 HP motor into my EP3. It has a Mugen suspension, and Type S front bar, ITR rear sway bar.
However, it's still my daily driver, so I'm not sure I even want more than what's in the car right now.
On the other hand, I am beginning to suspect that I will eventually end up with a K motor hybrid in my DC2 ITR track car!!

I am from NJ, not that it matters...
Please note the term "swap", and yes B18B's do sell for around $2500 for a SWAP.
Of course you can get a longblock for less than that...were talkin SWAPS.
(ie: complete assembled engines, transmission, ecu, axles, harness, etc)
Quick google search yielded this price for a B18B swap- ($2650)

I'm sure they can be had for cheaper....just showing you i'm not way off base.

The only reason the price is that high is because the shipping. if you take off the shipping it would probably be 250 dollars cheaper. But I don't know why this is in my thread since I'm just taking a pole to see how many people are interested in K20a2 motors not ls motors.
I have seen them go for less, but not often. I've even heard of them going for under $1500 (wink, wink), but that's obviously VERY uncommong. $2900 is actually a better price than I thought because you're including all of the extras instead of the basic swaps that just have the motor, tranny, harness and ECU.
If I lived closer, I'd be very tempted. NJ is a long drive from chi-town. I've still got some life left on my warranty as well. Prices should continue to drop since more and more are becoming available (as well as the DC5R swaps).
Hit me up if you don't get a buyer, but I'd still have to find someone to buy my K20A3 who lives in NJ and could pick it up. Hmm.
