ok guys, i just got done searching for Z3 fenders and i realized i cant search z3 cuz its only two letters. anyways i bought some fiberglass VIS z3 fenders for my integra and they were SUPPOSED to be 100% bolt on. now when i put them on they dont fit right at all. like i cant even open the door or its going to break the fender. they came in a VIS box but they dont have a VIS badge anywhere on the fenders(inside or outside of them). I got them from ebay. anyways, i went to a bodyshop to see what they could do, and they told me that he could fix it with alot of work and could do it for about(estimate) $250. a little high for somthing i was exspecting to only need slight modifaction(knowing it was fiberglass). The guy at the body shop charges $40 an hour and seems to be an honest guy. he said the fenders looked like crap and looked like someone made from a house or somthing cheap. anyways, what the heck can i do? i'm frustraited right now because i sure dont want to spend $250 on top of the 180(shipped to my door) that i already spent on these fenders. btw reason i got these is because my fenders were scratched up to crazyness and i was in need of paint anyways so i thought i would upgrade. sorry this post is so long but for any1 who read it and can tell me what to do let me know. thanks.

not to sound like a dick but alot of other members on here dont really dig the whole z3 fenders/fiberglass body kits etc look.

i work at a body shop so heres my advice.

report it to ebay to try and get your money back through ebay or if you paid with paypal, make a claim. then bring your oem fenders to get painted. nothing fits like oem does.

 

well my oem fenders are basicly trashed(i think). they have a tiny bit of rust and are bent + they need new paint(i'm getting a paint job soon anyways) but i just figured i would upgrade b4 i got the car painted. anyways, i think i'll try the seller, and then ebay, just to see what they say and maybe i can get somthing back. not to mention when opening my door i put a hairline(less then an 1/8 of an inch that looks like it is just dirt) crack in the drivers side when opening the door the first time. thanks for the advice of throwing 180 dollar fenders into the trash, thats got to be the best advice i've ever gotten.
