Default How low do your revs drop when you shift?>

I was just wondering approximately what peoples revs drop to when they shift at redline. I just dynoed my ls/vtec turbo at 340whp at only 7800 rpms. What do you think my revs will be at when i shift hard at 7800. the reason im asking is that vtec is set for 5200, and i dont really want to fall out of it.

Even though your power rolls at 7800 you might want to take a lil past like 82 to 84 first 2 gears i would go to 8400 then 3rd and 4th i would go to like 8000 just my opinion good luck

im using the ls trans, and im only tuned to 7800, beyond that is dangerous in my mind. My injectors were maxed also.

unless with all that power he looses traction between shifts

I have a YS1, doesn't drop much, stays in VTEC. The biggest RPM drop is from 2nd to 3rd. 7800 is all? I take my LSVTEC to 8000-8200. On accident I revved to 9400 inbetween a shift, engine is still healthy as can be.
