ok so i took out my oem radio a little while ago and i guess i wasnt paying attention when i took it out, and i went to put it back in and it whouldnt stay in so my friend told me i need a bracket that goes on the back of the radio that holds it in, i guess i missplaced it, so i go to the dealer and try to buy on, i did a search on here and it said they werent expensive i thought i give it a try i get to the dealership and the guy told me i just cant buy the bracket i gotta buy the whole radio and that it whould cost 1400 bucks, so i said f@ck that and walked out

now is this guy just lazy and didnt feel like fiding this part number and gettting it or what

where can i buy this brakcer, does anybody have a part number i can take him, or even better does anybody have one for sale

Sometimes when explaining a part to the dealer, the dealer misinterprets a different part. To hold the radio in place without sliding out, there are two Phillips screws in the back. These two screws attaches to a bracket which is part of the inner dash assembly.

98 (ITR) Theft Recovery, so your saying that the bracket is attached to the under part of the dash? well on me is it is, i probaly looked right at it and didnt see it, whould anybody happen to have a pic of this bracket
