What do you guys think? I’m not too crazy about the hold amber thing. I’m about to buy a pair of stock tail lights (mine or cracked) and amber side makers from the civics in Japan and I already have fake vision corners. Right now I have the half white, half red taillights (with amber bulbs in turn signals), and real Japanese corner’s and I was think of picking up 2003 SiR (Si for you US guys) side makers (White but also with amber bulbs)

Is White with amber bulbs still tight to all those “JDM” ****** out there?

BTW I’m going to be flipping back and forth from pure amber and White with amber bulbs.

and I only put "JDM" in the title to get more attention. For some reason I hate the term.

If you're not crazy about the amber then get the white. As long as you buy quality parts and install them properly it's fine by me. I just hate half assers.

 

Personally, I like the Amber look a little better. I'm currently in Japan and I see a lot of fixed up cars on a daily basis. Most all the EK9s and DC2s (the real ones) are kept pretty close stock and they look great with the stock ambers on. Just my 2 cents.

 

I personally think the amber sides look sleeker on dark paint jobs and the clear with amber bulbs looks sleeker on light paint jobs. So its a toss up, but the 2003 Si lights sounds like a good idea.

yes. mine is not real jdm, but it's complete amber and i like it more. do what you like.

 

i prefer white to amber

Seriously though.....the amber one looks good to me. I didn't even really know they were "JDM" until I got on this site. I don't really care if it is "GayDM"....I freakin like them at thats about it.

Negative... Amber is the way to go, looks very nice to me

 

Go white. they look "stock", but much cleaner.

go for white/clear. i replaced my amber indicators with clear ones on my ek

 

similar questions have been asked many times.. If you like it go for it who cares what we think or us so call JDM ***** LOL

 

What colour is your car? I swapped my factory jdm amber side indicators and rear ones on my eg6 because I think the clear looks better than amber with a red car. Do what you think looks best.

 

id say clear wit amver bulb.. but do what ya want man

 

are you talking about your turn signals?

if so DO NOT get white bulbs. it blinds the HELL out of people at night, and it's INVISIBLE in the daytime

 

notice lot of replies sayin stick amber bulb into clear indicator lense, id stick silver bulb in otherwise looks like dam egg yolk n there. i know cos thats how mine are now.

 

white definatly looks better!!! IMO anyways..
