Default USDM NSX models, LSD or no?

Do the USDM NSX models come with factory Limited Slips?

If not, do you know if the Japanese spec LSD will work in USDM housing?

I appreciate it,
Brian

Yes, of course they came with a factory LSD.

And yes, a Japanese spec LSD will work with in a US model. There's a little more to it than that though.

Is there any reason that one could justify transferring the Japanese model transmission onto the US Model? Are the gear ratios the same?

Say if I told you I have a rolled Japanese NSX sitting in front of me, red, 41,293 kms, what would be worth taking?

I have yet to own one, sorry for the n00b questions.

No, not the entire transmission, although some folks swap the readily-available JDM second third and fourth gears (known as the "short gears") into the USM five-speed.

You can find the answer to this question in the NSX FAQ (answers to Frequently Asked Questions), under Technical Information - Gear Ratios.
