what will a leakdown test do, people have told me that my headgasket was blown but the smoke smells like oil, and theres no bubbles in my coolant.someone please help

a leakdown test will tell you where you're losing compression at. you compress aire in the cylinders. If it leaks out your intake manifold, your intake valves leak, if it leaks out th exhaust, your exhaust valves leak, and if it leaks out the head, then the head gasket is bad
