Default all motor non-vtec question

Hey all I have a B20b w/ a 96 Ls head and I'm wondering if there are any performance cams I could look into. I know there are alot of apps. for vtecs but how about non v's if there are what would you suggest? I currently have the standard bolt-ons ( intake, header, full exhaust), and am looking to get a skunk im, cam gears, crank pulley, and s-afc in the near future. As always any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hey man, I've got a 92 ls motor with 10.5:1 compression, headwork, and I run the crower stage 3 cams, Awesome midrange and topend, sounds like vtec. It revs a lot quicker and smoother. I reccomend those and I have also heard the crane cams are nice.

I had crower stage 2's on my old b20Z setup. They were good. I liked them.

Im gunna be running crower 403's with titanium retainers, dual valve springs, ported and polished head, port matched IM, hondata gasket, dc JDM 4-1, high flow cat, skunk 2 cam gears, safc. Ill tell you in a few weeks how it runs, but I would say go with crower cams.

I wouldn't go any lower than the 404's.

People always say that the 404s idle like crap, but 99% of them have never used or seen a car with the 404s.

Inside the car the idle feels stock. Oustide the car you can hear the lope in the exhaust, and in the engine, but its still pretty mild.

I am wishing I would have gone with the 405s, the 404s are so streetable.

i think crower stage 3 is the best for ls right now jg is good but i like the crower the most its need alot of compression though like around 12.0:1 with a big throttle body and good intake manifold it should hit good numbers....i hit 194 to the wheels and 146 torque with a skunk ecu and apex afc

I had pretty good luck with Crower 405a's and the biggest Crane's. With my b20 w/ the Cranes I made 198 @ 148. I now have 405's with a newer higher compression motor that is not done yet, so I will find out pretty soon what it runs.

That's because they don't.
