4th gen brake issues (should I buy new rotors?)
Ok so my 4th gen EX has some brake issues. I needed new front pads+turning of the rotors but it started to rain so I only swapped the pads. By now the pads have conformed to the ridges in the rotors, so I need to turn the rotors+another new set of pads. My question is, how do I know which type of rotor can be turned, and which type can't ? Mine have these slots on the top of them (along the flat edge) if that helps.
Cost of the job by a shop to turn them and new pads is something like $80! Thats BS!
Cliff notes:
I just need to know:
-> how to identify which type of rotor has to be replaced.
->if so, which brand to replace them with.
->how to go about getting the rotor OFF.
TIA

80 bucks isn't bad if it includes the mechanic taking your rotors aoff and resurfacing them and putting them back on. Accord press on rotors OWN! To your ? about which type of rotors... Go with OEM or Brembo blanks. Can't go wrong
About getting them off? For me ide rather pay the guy to knock them out and resurface them for 80... haha like i said our rotors OWN! They are pressed on and very hard to knock off the hub, but i can be done
