Quick ? about jdm front end headlights
I'm kinda workin on piecing together a jdm front end, so that in the end I'll have saved money, or have some extras sittin around for the just in case I get in a wreck or something...anyways
JDM plastic headlights for the one bulb'ed lights:
If I have the headlights and the wiring coming out of the rears of them for the bulbs that's all that's really needed from JDM land to make them bolt up correct? I don't wanna buy them and then find out they're missing a bracket or something like that.
My car's a 88 hatch if it matters.
So far I've gotten the fenders w/side markers and 88-89 corner lights for $20.00
still need hood, bumper filler and bumper, lip etc....
(i know what all is needed panels parts wise, just the details i wanna get right b4 i was....er spend my money)
thanks

all you need is the headlight harness...its the thing that connects to the bulb...just wire up the jdm harness to the usdm harness (color matching) and you'll be ok.
99%of the si-r headlights that i have seen have had the h4h bulb in them and the connector attached with about 6 inches of wire hanging off. like clicc said just color match. you will have one extra wire. just snip it a little shorter and wrap the whole deal up with a little electrical tape (it is an extra ground so you aren't going to burn your car to the ground by doing this.
as for the 88-89 and 90-91 corners...the only difference is the 90-91's have a little tab taht they slide into on the fender...looks cleaner imo. same fitment.
