Ok this really really sucks. Today I lowered my car a little more and mounted my intercooler. Nothing electrical, NOTHING. Now after finishing those 2 things Every time I step on the break I get a bell and a door ajar light. Soon as I let off break it goes away. WTF!! Any one had this problem.

Check your hood latch.
I don't know about USDM....but in europe the hood and hatch are also connected to that light.

You installed an intercooler..popped the hood. It's not closing right.

 

no electrical wires going to hood release... Also hood has pooped up (not open) when driving before and no light so I know its not that. Nice try though. Any other guesses?

 

My car did something like that when the horn fuse blew. Check all your fuses even under the hood.

Yeah, its teh weirdest thing, but sure enough, its teh hood fuse. TOok me soo long to figure it out. I guess horns seem to be lifesavers, so they want you to know that its blown, lol.

 

Thats the most retarted thing I have ever heard... I dont' even have horns right now so I don't knwo how it could have blown. oh well its working fine right now. Well thanks again!
