Sulfur smell - trying to pinpoint the sourse.
Ok, after searching, there are 2 main sources of sulfor smells. One is a bad battery, the other is running rich and causing the cat to ear out.
I started noticing this smell less than a week ago. Keep in mind the mods on the car are as follows: VAFC - leaned out slightly when car was stock. After the VAFC I got an intake, carsound roundbody cat, exhaust. The vafc was not tuned after installing the latter three mods.
So my question is, can an intake and exhaust cause the A/F ratio to be rich enough to kill a new cat within 2 months? Also, is there anything else I should worry about from a bad cat aside from emissions (which are not an issue at the moment).
Thanks in advance
