I know they're "JDM" and all that jazz, but I mean honestly, colored emblems will get ragged on, but not ridiculously colored rims? Why not have yellow, green, hot pink rims be all the rage? I guess I'm just sensing some hypocritical vibes, and am wondering how many of y'all truly dislike the red rims, look-wise. I'm not a fan of them and think they really fugly up a car

 

I allways see a kid at the meets with a white ITR and he has red rims. Tell you the truth i love the way they look

Its just personal taste do what you like, and what you like on your car, just cause its hot right now it doesn't mean in 6 months its still gonna be that way

Same here, I see white integras with red rims, and they look real nice. It not about the hype, its just that it looks good to some and looks bad to others. Red rims have been around for a while, I guess its more hyped now because of those GT3's that are coming out + all the hype about being "JDM" this, "JDM" that. But they dont realize that red is not JDM.

Only reason i sport the Red Gabs is because:

1: they are differant then what you see most the time
2: i am differant then most people
3: cause they are GABs

 

i don't mind red rims....depends on the car color

 

I don't mind them on white cars.

 

I hate red rims, but I admit they do look good on certain cars and certain colors.

Are you color blind?....It isnt a rage, it's just a style......

and since when did the color red become part of the japanese domestic market....I believe that the color red is from all around the world...Red = JDM...No!

 

I am sporting red gsr blades! I get made fun of for it by some but the most people like them! I dont care it's my car and my sense of style or lack there of.

well again people don't build car's for the masses and people who do it for the trends well come and go there is nothing you can do about it.


i was just talking to a friend and this guy adam with a inca pearl ek coupe had red gabs in like 98 or 99. and this was in sacramento which hasn't had the bigest import scene. i mean its not something new im pretty sure the wheels were made in the mid to early 90's

 

I personally think red rims look like ***
but to each their own
I don't tell someone what to do with their car
And I don't tell them that I don't like their car, even if they ask

 

I've yet to see a car with red rims that actually looks good...

Since when did red wheels have anything to do with poor? You can pay for your car's gas/etc but you can't pay for a can of red paint and misc items?

 

oh yes i can afford a can of spray paint but im not gonna paint my oem wheels red and be happy,
i d like something that would look good in red....
personally i only have two choices
paint gsr blades or del sol si wheels red and i dont think that would be too pleasant

i had red gabs on my ITR......it was cool for a minute, but yeah...shoot, at one point black/gold/bronze/white wheels looked odd, but people happend to like it...thats all
